It's been three years now since Coffee Republic, one of the UK's original international style espresso bar chains opened its doors to franchisees for the first time. In that short space of time we have seen the number of outlets skyrocket from 40 to in excess of 200 by Christmas 2008.

After years of coffee perfection, the feedback that we have received is that 'Coffee Republic is the one place you can go to get a great coffee and fresh food made on site in the one place' and it is on the back of this strength that we have seen such consistent growth.

It is within a similar timeframe that our stores have been given a makeover and since moving to our current black and red image, we have seen our brand take on a life of its own. Each one of our locations caters specifically to their local demographics in terms of furniture and atmosphere to ensure that our customers enjoy their experience.

Most franchisees who join us want to own a brand new unit in a location of their choosing and, if you already have a location in mind, we will help you to evaluate your chosen site to ensure it meets all our success criteria. Alternatively, we can help you seek a site within your chosen area. We will then go on to help you to arrange the supply of equipment and the shop fitting operating and will put you in touch with one of our Project Managers who will oversee the entire development process to allow you to create your own Coffee Republic.

The franchise system we have developed allows anyone with the right positive attitude to join us as a franchisee, no matter his or her background. There are, however, four things that Coffee Republic people have in common, these are: a desire to earn a good income, an interest in food and drink, a love of working with people, and a deep desire to be the boss.
