Camwatch UK franchise opportunity

Bell-based security systems often fail to prevent theft from homes. Established in 1998 Sheffield-based CamWatch offers a sophisticated and very effective alternative useing remote CCTV monitoring to confirm the presence of an intruder before taking appropriate action.

Police and insurance companies strongly favour these so-called "visually confirmed" security systems. Priced at £24,900 the franchise package includes the licence fee, franchise manual, full initial training, laptop with bespoke software, a kit of test equipment and components, marketing materials, sales presenter, business stationery and even the initial 3-month lease payment on a fully-liveried CamWatch vehicle.

To be considered as a potential CamWatch franchisee you will require a certain amount of practical aptitude and might well have already worked as a technician or installer. Equally important is sales ability - but the most important requirement of all is genuine enthusiasm, plus the determination to build your own highly successful business.

Initial Investment: £24,900

As a result, many burglars escape scot free - even while alarm bells are ringing all around them. Ken Young profiles a new franchise which is providing a high quality service in home security
