Summary of Operation: Hire A Hubby franchises are now available in the UK. Established in 1996, this professional Handyman business has over 300 franchise owners operating in Australia carrying out all forms of maintenance and DIY jobs for both domestic and commercial customers.

Hubbies do different household chores such as hanging pictures or tiling and can manage larger projects using the services of skilled tradesman that are registered with the company. Hubbies have their own exclusive territory with an average of 7,500 households plus all the commercial and retail outlets, giving more than enough opportunity to develop a serious handyman business.

Ideal Franchise Owner Profile: Hire A Hubby has two entry levels:

Area Developers- Have an area that has been geographically mapped and contains 100 territories with a potential 100 franchise owners. These candidates would have managerial experience and will support the franchise owners and monitor their progress. Area Developers are responsible for assisting in the recruitment of franchise owners within their area.
Franchise Owners- Should have a passion for DIY and acceptable tool skills. Candidates do not need experience of the building industry but need to be looking to build a scalable business with significant growth potential. Cost of Franchise: Franchise owner- Territories from £10,000 plus £7,550 set up costs.

Area Developer- £25,000 + £15,000 Recruitment Levy
