Bassito's Piri-Piri is a family friendly restaurant with a difference. Its Founder Maria Basset, an experienced restaurant owner, has created an attractive Mediterranean-style concept with her unique piri-piri flame grilled chicken as its centrepoint.
An investor is now sought to help fund an expansion programme via franchising. Maria says: "This is a unique opportunity for an investor to spearhead the development of an exciting and attractive restaurant concept. In the first instance I am looking for an investor to help fund a feasibility study and to establish a pilot restaurant with a view to developing a franchise package to expand the business nationwide. An investment of £35,000 is required to secure a position on the board with the opportunity of a 50 per cent equity in the business. A further £200,000-£250,000 will be required to open the pilot operation, depending on location."
Maria has worked in the catering industry for over 10 years and brings substantial strengths, skills, knowledge and dedication to the partnership. She adds: "Piri-Piri chicken appeals particularly to health conscious consumers, as it is low in fat and cholesterol. The restaurant is very attractive with bright Mediterranean colours, Latin music, and good food, which create a family orientated, holiday feeling.
"Our aim is for the name Bassito's Piri-Piri to ultimately be recognised worldwide for its specialty food and to provide the very best customer service and a unique eating experience."
