'The advantages of this unique storage system are its security, durability, easy installation and the proper utilisation of dead space'

A product which will have an impact on commercial and private storage markets, plus property development, hospitals, restaurants, and more, BatBox is generating serious interest among investors seeking to build a business with a revolutionary new product.

BatBox is a storage unit which hangs from the roof much like a bat, and is easily suspended by two semi-skilled installers in two to three hours. It can be used to store almost anything, including medicines, office equipment, factory tools, sporting equipment, files, books, furniture, gardening and cleaning equipment, or to place specific items out of reach of children such as tools or chemicals, or personal items out of reach of tenants or workers. It may even be utilised to install a washing machine and tumble-drier, thereby increasing space in the main living area of the house. "The advantages of this unique storage system are its security, durability, easy installation and the proper utilisation of 'dead' space," says Franchise Consultant Nick Williams of Franchise Development Services, who is acting on behalf of the franchisor. "The BatBox helps the customer to utilise spaces that would otherwise be wasted in any construction."

BatBox is looking for a Master and Regional Franchisees to establish sales and installation networks in large regional territories across the UK.

"The demand for the product is growing all the time, and BatBox franchisees will have an untapped market segment with superb profit potential," reflects Nick. "Every property owner is a potential customer for this elegantly simple but amazingly effective and versatile storage solution."

The BatBox has a wide range of commercial applications: it can be modified for use as a safe storage for medicines, valuable instruments and equipment for hospitals and clinics; a storage vault for offices to keep important files and computer accessories; a storeroom for hotels, restaurants and small-scale industries; or even to keep wines and spirits. It is a secure and lockable steel container that can hold up to 500kg, is manufactured to the highest standards and, once assembled, is virtually indestructible. The materials used are corrosion resistant and maintenance free, so the unit should last a lifetime.

The BatBox was first developed by Swiss chemical engineering student Jacques Le Roux, and was successfully piloted in South Africa where 18 franchisees are installing approximately 200 units per month. The BatBox franchise in Cape Town installed 335 units in its first six months of operation.

"There are limitless applications for this magnificent product and the Master Franchisee can reap the rewards within a short time," Nick reflects. "BatBox represents an opportunity to distribute a product that has so many potential markets that your business will never run out of growth potential."
