The company founder John Chambers has 15 years of experience in franchising, is a member of the British Franchise Association (bfa) Legal committee and has been a judge on the bfa Franchisor of the Year awards panel. He says: "The company had an outstanding first year and held a party at the House of Lords to celebrate. A decade later, I felt we could only match that by coming nearer to home and the serenity of St John's. I actually can't believe the firm is 10 years old. I still get a buzz when a client achieves a particular landmark, such as their first recruit, re-sale or national conference."

Since its establishment in 1998 Chambers & Co has helped over 150 franchisors including Coffee Republic, TaxAssist Direct, Neal's Yard, Signs Express and Rainbow International build their client bases in both the UK and abroad. Countries include the USA, China, Middle East and many European countries. Over 20 of these companies have gone on to win awards at the bfa Franchisor of the Year awards ceremony.
