He realised there was a potential market with military personnel because when they are redeployed, as part of the Marching Out scheme, personnel and their families are required to thoroughly clean all appliances, carpets, curtains and other fixtures and fittings in their accommodation before leaving.

He says: "Families leaving military accommodation to be deployed elsewhere have a lot on their plate, and cleaning ovens, microwaves and extractor hoods to the high standard required by the army is no easy task. I can take away some of the hassle by offering a valeting service that is guaranteed to pass the most stringent of inspections."
