After 25 years in the insurance industry, Stephen became bored with being deskbound and fancied a new challenge. Unsure of what direction to take, Stephen attended a few franchise exhibitions where he found the PCC opportunity. "After talks, I was left with a very good impression of the business," recalls Stephen. "At the time it was a new franchise, so one of the most important factors for me was that PCC's parent company was ChipsAway. I knew that my business would benefit from their experience, expertise and excellent reputation. I knew I was onto a winner!"

Following a period of intensive training, Stephen was equipped with everything he needed to know when he launched his business in March. With PCC organising a promotional push at a local supermarket, Stephen reports that it was a great start to his business:

"It was a big help in both finding me my initial customers and increasing the brand awareness of the PCC service." Still receiving a high level of support from the franchisor, Stephen is pleased to say that he always has help when he needs it. "I'm even visited by the General Manager once a month who makes sure I'm OK with everything," he adds. "They really do look after you."

With the business still growing and more corporate clients secured, Stephen says he hopes to take on a second van and an employee within the next 12 to 18 months. "I find the work very rewarding," he enthuses. "It's going to be a challenge but I'm enjoying it immensely."
