The bonus for PCC franchisees is that regular monthly valets with specialist 'conserver' shampoo are necessary to protect the high quality finish and the integrity of the coating - potentially locking in PCC customers for at least a 24 month period.

As these products require specialist application, they are added to the PCC franchisee's range only after they have acquired three months' experience in valeting customers' cars. Typically, the products will be required for new cars, particularly prestige cars, and can push the price of a full valet up to around £300.
