Re/Max Nantwich Celebrates Training Success

RE/MAX 1st Choice in Nantwich is celebrating becoming the first RE/MAX franchise in the Cheshire, Merseyside and Wales region to achieve a 100% pass rate in the prestigious National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) qualification.

All four of the Nantwich office's sales associates; Maggie Miller, David Harrison, Cathy Dunbabin and Sarah Thomas have recently been awarded the NAEA Technical award in estate agency - a nationally recognised proven standard of competence that is compulsory for all RE/MAX staff.

Maggie Miller, owner of RE/MAX 1st Choice Nantwich said: "We understand that moving home is one of the most important decisions people have to make and people need to be reassured that their estate agent has not only the knowledge and understanding, but the professional integrity to make sure that the customer is getting the best possible service.

RE/MAX offers excellent training programmes that help new sales associates gain a wider knowledge of the estate agency business and help them grow professionally. In an industry that is largely self-regulated, we are 100% committed to ensuring that we deliver a professional service to our customers and doing our bit to help raise professional standards across all aspects of the property market for the benefit of the home moving public."

RE/MAX is one of the fastest growing franchised estate agents in the UK, with 12 offices across the Cheshire, Merseyside and Wales regions. The RE/MAX model works on the basis that all sales associates are self employed and benefit directly from their efforts by retaining up to 80% of the commission from the sale of a property, as their income.

The sales associates list and sell the properties, while the franchise owner provides an office from which they work as self-employed associates. The sales associates undertake a stringent training and examination process, ensuring that they comply with the Estate Agency Act, the Property Misdescriptions Act and the Money Laundry Act. RE/MAX also has its own Code of Ethics, which all agents must adhere to.
