SUMO franchisees are exceeding expectations

SUMO, a company that supplies underground utility detection services to the construction industry, has seen rapid expansion in its franchise network across the UK. Seven SUMO franchises have expanded and taken on new members of staff, due to their increased workload.

Paul Henshall, who heads up SUMO Matlock covering the Derbyshire area, found that he had exceeded his business plans so decided to expand and buy SUMO Newark as well as taking on a new member of staff, Stuart Puddick. "Things have been going really well here," says Paul. "As the word spreads about the underground utility service we offer and the benefits to construction sites, the work has increased rapidly.

"Stuart is very enthusiastic and quick thinking and I am pleased to have him onboard. In the future I am planning to expand SUMO Matlock even further to take on the whole of the East Midlands area."
