Award-winning Swisher

It has been a busy couple of months for UK management franchise Swisher. Not only has it been nominated as a finalist for the British Franchise Association's (bfa) prestigious 'Franchisor of the Year Award 2006', but it also won the first ever 'Franchise Recruitment Team of the Year Award 2006' at the Franchise Marketing Awards.

"Swisher is absolutely delighted to have won the 'Franchise Recruitment Team of the Year Award 2006'," says Marilyn Keen, Swisher Co-Founder and Development Director. "As an ethical and respected franchisor, we carefully select our franchisees to ensure they will enhance the network and that Swisher will be appropriate for them. In fact, we are so selective in our franchise recruitment that from more than 1,500 applicants per annum only eight to 10 candidates are awarded a Swisher territory each year!"

Marilyn was recently elected to the board of the bfa, a highly prestigious role and the only woman to be sitting on the board at present. Synonymous with professionalism and quality, Swisher has won numerous other awards over the years including both the HSBC 'Award for Enterprise' and second prize in the Daily Express 'Brand Builder Award' at the bfa's 2004 Franchisor of the Year Awards (a dual feat that had never been achieved) and also the BTA 'Award for Innovation in Services & Products'. With no competition for its unique service and weekly repeat business, each Swisher franchise has continuous and unlimited growth potential. Accordingly, Swisher franchisees are building high revenue businesses with turnovers exceeding £500,000 and achieving net profits of between 30 and 40 per cent.
