"This is a superb opportunity to run your own sales business for the supply of light commercial vehicles to small and medium-sized businesses under the V4Vans banner."

FDS Midlands Franchise Consultant Ken Young

Vantastic4Vans Ltd has surprised the market by announcing the appointment of its first V4Vans franchisee - at least two full months ahead of schedule. Managing Director Pete Clements explains: "Even though our official launch was not planned until September, the V4Vans concept was well proven and all the franchise support features were already in place. So, when we were approached by a person of Jason Draper's quality and experience, we were only too pleased to grant him our first franchise territory."

The new V4Vans franchise is based on AJ (Vehicles), a well established and highly successful internet-based van sales business created by Pete Clements and his wife Mandy just four years ago. But unlike that business, V4Vans franchisees will have the additional advantage of providing valuable face-to-face local contact with their customers.

The company specialises in supplying light commercial vehicles from all the main manufacturers, offering attractive cash discounts and also a wide range of highly competitive finance terms. It has gained its greatest acclaim from the smaller businesses niche market because, as Mandy Clements points out: "These small businesses may not have the weighty buying power of the big fleet operators but they do still expect a really good deal and high quality service when the time comes to order their new Berlingos and Transits."

Like Pete and Mandy, Jason Draper also happens to have a background in the motor trade, but this is by no means a necessary requirement for future franchisees. The V4Vans Directors offer an impressive training programme so will principally be looking for sales ability, business acumen and a determination to succeed in the business. Asked why he was so impressed by this particular franchise opportunity, Jason comments that for him:

"A major attraction of V4Vans is that almost all the administration, progress chasing and invoicing is carried out by the Head Office, which means franchisees can spend most of their time selling." Jason (pictured taking delivery of his new vehicle from V4Vans Operations Director Patrick Brown) alsorevealed that: "As with many talented salesmen, paperwork is not exactly my strongest point!"

Ken Young of franchise consultancy FDS Midlands comments: "This is a superb opportunity to run your own sales business for the supply of light commercial vehicles to small and medium-sized businesses under the V4Vans banner. The franchise can easily be run from a home-office by an individual or couple working together, and requires only a modest investment. V4Vans will especially appeal to outgoing and talented individuals who dislike the tedious, but very necessary, administrative side of running a successful business."

The V4Vans franchise package includes five days of on-the-job training as well as continuing administrative support from its Head Office. Franchisees also purchase the rights to use the franchisor's brand name and business system. In addition they receive a sign-written vehicle with the initial deposit pre-paid by the franchisor, together with marketing materials, business stationery and much more.

With further franchise territories now also being released ahead of plan, the Directors are already talking to other keen potential franchisees. So it certainly looks as if V4Vans is a new franchise with a big future...and it's a future you could share by contacting Managing Director Pete Clements before it is too late.
