Former franchisee appointed managing director
Fastsigns, a company that creates sign and graphic products, has promoted former franchisee Garth Allison to managing director of UK operations.
Owning the Fastsigns Sheffield franchise since 1995, Allision handed over its operation to his wife and son when he joined Fastsigns International Inc. in 2004 as director of franchise sales in the UK. Fastsigns has 20 centres in the UK and over 500 branches throughout the world.
"Garth has served Fastsigns well over the last three years in the role of director of franchise sales, and is suited to take on the additional responsibility of overseeing all operational and development responsibilities for the UK operations," says Larry Lane, president of Fastsigns International Inc. "A proven leader in business development and customer service, Garth's familiarity with the franchisee relationship and how important it is for Fastsigns to create value for the owners make him the right choice to lead Fastsigns and its expansion in the UK."
Garth Allison, managing director of UK operations, Fastsigns, adds: "Customer service and franchisee selection has been key to our growth in the UK. We strive for higher standards in every aspect of our business and it shows in our consistent sales growth. I am delighted to move into this new leadership role with Fastsigns International Inc., and I believe we are well-positioned for even greater success."
