Directed by Juan José Campanella, the film was Argentina’s highest grossing film of 2013 and follows the adventures of Amadeo and his table football team who magically come to life.

The English version is voiced by Rupert Grint as lead character Amadeo, Anthony Head, Ralf Little, Rob Brydon, impressionist Alistair McGowan and Peter Serafinowicz, and produced by Jorge Estrada Mora, Gaston Gorali and Gustavo Ferrada with UK producers Victor Glynn and David Burgess.

The Unbeatables is a touching story of triumphing against the odds. Amadeo (Grint) is a young boy who lives for his time playing table football on his own. When his table is destroyed he fears his life is ruined, until he hears his name being called. The person saying his name is Loco (Serafinowicz), one of the players from his table; he has come to life. Fun and frolics ensue as Amadeo embarks on an adventure with his best friends.

As part of the brand partnership with exclusive category rights, A-Star Sports is organising competitions in all its territories across the UK to win cinema tickets to see exclusive preview screenings of the film as well as branded goodie bags. Additionally, the largest A-Star Sports franchise, based in Chester, will be organising an ‘Unbeatables’ themed sports event on Friday 15th August to celebrate the launch of the film. The event will take place at The Cheshire County Sports Club.

In each of the last three years Vertigo has a had a film in the top five most successful British Independent films of the year; in 2010 StreetDance 3D was the number one and in 2011, Horrid Henry the Movie was 4th (behind the Inbetweeners, The Kings Speech and Tinker, Tailor). In 2012, experienced success with StreetDance 2 & The Sweeney (which opened at number one in the UK Box Office), whilst StreetDance remains one of the most successful British Independent films of all time, taking nearly $60m at the World Wide Box Office.

With a vision for children and families to ‘enjoy sport for life’, A-Star Sports offers multi-sports coaching for children from two years old to 10, covering ten core sports (including football), games and fundamental activities in weekly private classes, holiday clubs, parties and events.
