The annual bfa awards are recognised within the franchising industry as the most prestigious accolade a franchisor can achieve. This year, five new categories have been introduced igniting a real interest in the competition, which saw a 30 per cent increase in entrant numbers compared to 2013.

Paul Boniface, Franchise Director for Ableworld was understandably thrilled with the news: “Since signing our first official franchise in 2011 our network has seen steady, controlled growth and we’re now in a position, with a tried and tested business model, to expand further.”The ‘Emerging Franchisor of the Year’ category is one of the new awards to be introduced this year. To reach the final Ableworld had to demonstrate that they ‘stood out from the crowd’ and have developed a strong infrastructure focused on robust network growth.

Boniface added: “From the outset we tried hard to follow the bfa’s guidelines for running an ethical franchise and as the only bfa accredited franchise in our field feel that this approach has helped our franchisees.”
