The freedom of self employment, the safety of a national network

"After investigating the market, I decided that All Trades Network offered the best franchise package and support, as well as the best business prospects."
Andris Cerins explains how becoming an All Trades Network franchise owner has helped him to realise his business ambitions.
"I had been self-employed as a decorator in the private property maintenance trade for a number of years. However, I found that the amount of work coming in could fluctuate from month to month and I really wanted a steady stream of clients. I decided to start looking for a franchise opportunity which could deliver this. After investigating the market, I decided that All Trades Network offered the best franchise package and support, as well as the best business prospects.
"I became an All Trades franchise owner in April 2009. Since joining the All Trades Network the amount of work I have taken on for my team of trusted tradesmen has steadily increased. A lot of the work we do is for insurance companies. With the All Trades Network name behind us, our customers have the added assurance of knowing their improvements and repairs have been carried out by a nationally trusted company."
As the property market continues to fluctuate, more and more homeowners are choosing to invest in their homes rather than move. With around 120,000 properties in each franchise territory, there is great potential for the All Trades Network franchise owner to become a leading property repairer within that territory. "I've had a lot to learn in the last year and it's been great to know that I can rely on the excellent support and resources of Head Office whenever I need them," explains Andris. "The team has more than 50 years of management experience in the insurance, construction and building industries. I can now pass this experience on to customers in my territory and win jobs that I would never have been considered for previously.
"Becoming an All Trades Network franchise owner has allowed me to expand my business by carrying out a greater variety and volume of work throughout Norfolk's construction industry," he confirms. "Having started with a turnover of £5,000 a month when I first joined All Trades, I'm now achieving £30,000 a month. As a result, I'm looking forward to achieving my first year turnover goal."
