Insure your future with All Trades Network

Since All Trades Network began franchising in 2005, it has rapidly developed into one of the UK’s leading property repair and maintenance opportunities with over 30 franchise owners throughout the UK. Tiffany Brooking reports

With exciting new elements included in the All Trades franchise package, such as its atn247 callout service, Franchise Manager Eddie Mulqueen is confident that All Trades will continue to attract quality franchise owners to meet existing customer demand and future growth.

“Year on year the business has continued to develop and thrive, from five franchise owners in our first year, through a process of managed growth to our current levels,” he explains. “As our company continues to grow and develop new services, so we need to expand our network to meet and service this growth.” The company’s success is built on its network of management franchise owners, who are trained to inspect and verify insurance claims, formulate a schedule of repairs and then manage the works ensuring a first class experience for our customer’s policy holders.

Our franchise owners are also actively sourcing re-instatement works, facilities management contracts, social housing and landlord repairs using their extensive network of quality trades people, to deliver a first class service to our customers.

Services provided

To ensure that All Trades franchise owners are able to keep their existing customers happy and attract new ones, the company has introduced an exciting and hugely beneficial service to its franchise package. Franchise owners can now offer the atn247 callout service to their customers, which enables franchise owners to provide the most efficient service possible – with a 90 minute response time – this is an additional revenue stream with its fixed call out fees, in addition to re-instatement works to remedy any damage.

The atn247 customer service line, which is based in the UK, operates from a bespoke system that distributes service requests to the appropriate All Trades Network territory – taking a pro-active approach to obtaining work for franchise owners by creating new customer leads and aiding the successful development of their business.

Following its success with atn247, All Trades Network is now pioneering the use of Photographic Aerial Roof Technology, within the domestic and light commercial/industry sector. By using this powerful camera and imaging equipment coupled with tilt and zoom capacity, All Trades franchise owners can view areas of the roof that are inaccessible by ladder, and at the same time provide accurate reports in a fraction of the time taken by the company’s competitors. It is innovative services such as these that keep the All Trades brand and service at the forefront of its industry.

Franchise owner profile

Since launching their Edinburgh-based All Trades franchise just over a year ago, joint franchise owners Robert Young and Linda Bendle have been amazed by the rate of their business development.

“Things have changed massively,” enthuses Linda, “When we first launched our All Trades franchise we had about one job a week but as we became more established the work started flooding in. We now have anything from two to five jobs a day!

“We have had to take on a Project Manager and Administrator to help manage our workload. It’s not a case of if we need to take on more staff but when, as the demand for our services keeps on growing.” Robert is very pleased with the ongoing assistance he has received from the All Trades support team and is excited about the new addition to the All Trades franchise package.

“As an experienced Property Manager I have not needed much assistance but if I do, All Trades is only ever a phone call away.

“I think that atn247 customer service line is a brilliant idea,” he says. “It’s a service that customers want and it is an essential part of growing our business and obtaining more work.”
