All Trades Network continues network expansion

Having secured newly agreed national contracts, with the New Year comes new opportunities for All Trades Network franchise owners.

Since launching its franchise opportunity in 2005, All Trades Network has rapidly developed into one of the UK’s leading property repair franchises with more than 30 offices throughout the UK.

With increasing demand for its property repair and maintenance services and having recently secured an agreement with one of the UK’s major loss adjusters, All Trades is eager to continue its nationwide network expansion.

“They say that every cloud has a silver lining and in the claims industry, that’s probably truer than ever,” says All Trades UK Franchise Manager, Eddie Mulqueen. “The start of 2011 saw our worst winter weather for years and, as such, one of our busiest on record. This enabled All Trades to forge new links within our industry for the benefit of the network; these clients are now firmly committed to the level of service and expertise that our franchise owners have provided at a local level.

“To service this demand, we are still looking for suitable new franchise owners and have a number of territories available for the right candidates. We are looking for motivated individuals with a can-do attitude coupled with a level of supervisory experience and a keen understanding of DIY.”

As an All Trades franchise owner, you will provide comprehensive property re-instatement and repair services to the insurance industry and property owners alike. You will be responsible for managing your business and trades people, ensuring customer satisfaction and excellent service standards are met.

You do not need to have any previous experience in the building and maintenance sector, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

To ensure All Trades franchise owners are able to keep their existing customers satisfied and attract new ones, the company continues to introduce new and innovative services.

After the successful launch of the dedicated customer service line, atn24/7, All Trades is now pioneering the use of Photographic Ariel Roof Technology, within the domestic and light commercial industry sector.

“We are currently developing a Letting/Estate Agency product, to service the ever increasing demands of this sector,” continues Eddie. “It’s no secret that more and more people are choosing to rent a property. However, they are far more demanding, taking into account the standard and quality of the property before committing to a tenancy or lease agreement. Therefore, Letting and Estate Agents, on behalf of their landlords, must ensure that those same properties are of the highest standards, that is where we feel All Trades, with its national coverage and expertise, can help.”

After working in retail for over 20 years, Kishore Kumar was ready to take on a new challenge that would provide him with a solid flow of work and allow him to combine his managerial skills and interest of property development.

“Before joining All Trades I owned and operated my own supermarket, which was very demanding,” explains Kishore. “So I wanted to find a business opportunity that would be less labour intensive and allow me to pursue my property development projects.

“I looked into several franchise opportunities but it was All Trades property repair services that appealed to me the most. All Trades will continue to have a solid flow of work, even during bad economic times – if someone has a hole in their roof or a flooded kitchen it needs to be fixed!”

Kishore received a week of intensive training at All Trades’ head office in Blackburn, where he learned about the day-to-day running of the business, marketing, health and safety and how to use the bespoke ATOMS software. This was followed up by the All Trades field support team to ensure Kishore had the best possible start to his new business venture.

“I found the training very helpful,” recalls Kishore. “The company is developing and implementing new services all the time, so it’s great that franchise owners can be kept up-to-date via training and ongoing support from Franchise Managers.”
