Running throughout the new branding is the image of a tree reflecting the need for businesses to focus on environmental issues such as third world needs and more informed consumerism. Auditel is involved in conserving and managing water and energy, dealing with commercial waste and providing environmentally acceptable premises management.

The company's new natural theme was well received by visitors to the British and International Franchise Exhibition in London seeing the branding for the first time. Daniel Harris, Auditel's Recruitment Manager, says: 'We had a lot of interest from prospects in London. People are genuinely interested in what we are doing and want to be involved. We want to continue to attract the right kind of people who care about ethical business practice and value developing long-term client relationships.'

Auditel currently has 100 franchisees, each a specialist in their particular field. 'Just like the roots of a tree, franchisees work together to strengthen the Auditel brand with their combined expertise enabling them to offer clients services tailored to their needs,' states Daniel. 'It is for this reason that 75 per cent of our clients want to continue their relationship with us.'

Auditel is aiming to recruit between 20 and 25 franchisees by the end of the year. Consultants come from varied backgrounds. Some have expertise in one of their essential service areas; others have experience at senior management/director level. A desire to be successful, embrace challenges and take on new opportunities are key features.
