Auditel’s franchise recruitment drive has seen it attract franchise owners from a range of backgrounds and one of its latest recruits, Simon Gibson, joins the company from a career as a Royal Air Force Officer.

Gibson said that Auditel, which provides a cost and purchase management service, appealed to him because he connected with its network of franchise owners and “the start-up cost compared favourably to other similar franchises”. Gibson has recently been on the training course that Auditel provides all new franchise owners with, he said: “It took me from an anxious franchise owner to a Cost and Purchase Consultant. A confidence building, mind broadening and attitude adjusting experience.”

Edward Brewer, Business Development Director at Auditel, said: “Simon was among a fantastic group of people who conducted due diligence into the white-collar franchise marketplace before deciding to choose Auditel. We were delighted to train these new affiliates from a wide range of backgrounds. They all bring a wealth of experience and talent to our network.”

Following last year’s nomination in the bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award, Auditel was selected as a finalist together with only five other franchisors, for the HSBC Franchisee Support Award for 2011. This award, which is managed by the British Franchise Association (bfa), is given to the franchisor providing exceptional support to their franchise owners and the best possible environment for success.
