Healthcare staff agency franchise Availl has strengthened its head office team with the appointment of Paula Spriggs as Franchise Manager.

Spriggs brings more than 20 years of franchising experience to Availl, having undertaken a variety of operational and franchise recruitment roles for a number of leading franchised companies in the UK and USA.

“Availl will assist franchise owners with the recruitment of the Registered Manager, where necessary,” explained Spriggs. “Following an initial marketing launch, which will include establishing contacts within the local authorities, the key role of the franchise owner will be the on-going promotion of the Availl brand and the profitable growth of the business.”

Founded in Cambridge in 2007 by husband and wife Graham Parker and Paula Wilson-Parker, Availl works with more than 160 carers, supplying over 5,000 hours of care and support every week to people in their own homes, establishments and through contracts with local authorities.

Parker said: “Franchising is the natural progression for Availl. By identifying business partners who share our beliefs and values, we will grow the network nationwide and meet our aim of becoming the country’s largest and, most importantly, favourite local care and nursing provider.”
