Bartercard UK appoints new MD

Bartercard, the world's leading business-to-business trade exchange, has appointed Geoff Searle as Managing Director of UK operations.

Geoff brings with him extensive experience in sales and marketing having worked internationally for Fortune 500 countries over the past 15 years.

Previous employers include the Russian company Kaspersky Lab, where he launched the company to the US market; Metro Media technologies Inc. where he held the position of European Sales and Marketing Director; and Enigma Design, where he was New Business Development Director.

'Bartercard has already enjoyed an outstanding year of trading since being listed on AIM, experiencing record sales for the third time this year,' says Geoff. 'I am looking forward to taking the reins of this thriving company and raising the profile of the brand even further in the next six months.'
