Bathroom specialist Bathstore has revealed plans to open additional franchise outlets during 2012, as demand for its showrooms continues to grow.

John Davies, Head of Franchise at Bathstore, which already has 41 franchise owners, said: “Franchising is a very important part of Bathstore’s overall business, and has been proven and established over the last 10 years to ensure franchises are successful and profitable, even in a tougher economic environment. This is evident in the fact that a number of new Bathstore franchises have opened in the last 12 months.

“The greatest compliment we have is that so far 14 of our existing franchise owners have decided to open a second franchise for themselves.”

Starting a new Bathstore franchise requires a low capital investment of £15,000 and the ability to secure a £35,000 overdraft facility. This provides the new franchise business with sufficient working capital to meet initial trading requirements and firmly establish the business for the long term.

With both store and online presence, franchise owners benefit from revenue earned from each of these channels for an initial 10 year term, ensuring a base business from day one.
