Belvoir franchisee in bfa award finals

After buying Belvoir's Sleaford franchise as a going concern, Peter Atkinson has tripled its turnover in his first year. He was awarded the Newcomer of the Year Award at the Belvoir High Achievers Award in 2005 and has since gone on to be one of the 10 finalists in the British Franchise Association's 'Franchisee of the Year 2006' awards.

Peter's vision for his future is very clear, he wants to double his business over the next two years and take on more staff to allow him to switch to a four-day working week.

Chief Executive Mike Goddard comments: 'When buying a Belvoir franchise you are investing in a business that has a proven record of success. We are very careful to ensure that franchisees understand that we need them to replicate the business methodology to ensure growth and success across the network. We are looking for people who are ready to go into business for themselves with the attitude and commitment to succeed. We can give you the knowledge and the skills you need to do the job, but the will to succeed must come from within.

'Our business is very much about people and our aim is 'to provide every community in the UK with a professional lettings service which embraces the principles of quality and customer care'. Without good communication skills and a desire to please, good customer service is impossible to deliver.'
