He joins senior representatives from 10 other leading franchise companies. Mike previously served as Regional Chairman of the Midlands group of the bfa. In his new role, Mike has specific responsibility with another board member for accrediting franchised businesses before they are allowed to join the bfa.

Mike comments: 'I am delighted by my appointment, especially since this is an elected post. I am flattered that my peers feel I am suitable to be on the bfa board.'

Before setting up Belvoir Lettings with his wife Stephanie in 1995, Mike Goddard served as a Wing Commander in the RAF. The franchise now has 97 outlets across the UK and Ireland, with its headquarters and training centre in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
