After a record-breaking start to 2007, with seven new franchisees due to launch over the next two months, Belvoir is on target to achieve its goal of 100 franchises by the end of the year

Belvoir, the UK's leading lettings specialist, has announced a record-breaking start to 2007 with seven new franchises due to open at locations throughout the UK in the next two months. This success puts Belvoir firmly on track to achieve its goal of 100 franchises by the end of the year.

Locations for the new Belvoir franchises are in Knutsford, Cambridge, Birmingham, Gravesend, Portadown, Solihull, Newbury and Inverness.

Dorian Gonsalves, Sales Director for Belvoir, says: 'We are delighted and wish all our new franchisees every success for the future. We pride ourselves on the quality of our induction training, which is a comprehensive three-week course undertaken by all potential franchisees, providing them with all the knowledge and support they will need. This is the first time since Belvoir launched in 1995 that we have had so many franchisees complete their training at the same time and they are all due to open new businesses in prime locations very shortly.

'In addition, we have 13 more franchises planned for the rest of the year and places on our remaining training courses are filling up fast. 2007 is set to be a record-breaking year and is a strong indication of the standing that Belvoir has within the lettings industry and the commitment and standard of service we provide for our franchisees.

Founded by Mike and Stephanie Goddard in 1995, Belvoir is recognised as the largest letting franchise specialist in the UK. Mike, who was recently appointed to the British Franchise Association's Board of Directors, believes a strong market exists for Belvoir franchisees. 'In 1991, seven per cent of UK households were rented out privately. Between 1992 and 2000 this increased by 43 per cent and we predict that this will increase by a further 50 per cent in the next few years. We're aiming to appoint a further 200 franchisees over the next 10 years.'
