Bluebird Care pleased with first year of franchising

Since launching its franchise programme in June 2006, Bluebird Care has expanded to 23 UK franchisees and a Master Franchise for the Republic of Ireland.

Bluebird Care, which provides home care for a range of people, originally operated a successful pilot business for two years before setting up its franchise network. 'By our reckoning that makes us the fastest growing care franchise in the UK,' says Bluebird Care's Franchise Director Simon Dalziel. 'Not only have we grown rapidly but we are delighted with the experience and calibre of our franchisees who, in turn, are now seeing their businesses grow and develop.'

Brian MacGoey, who purchased the Bluebird Care Master Franchise along with Malcolm Clein and Ann Flannery, adds: 'We are delighted to be part of the Bluebird Care network. The care market in Ireland is huge and with the experience Bluebird Care brings, we will have a good profitable franchise network here. Already we are receiving quality enquiries from people across a range of professions.'
