One of the newest Bluebird Care offices has opened in Kingsteignton in Devon run by franchisee owner Sharon Ryan, who says: 'I passionately believe in providing a high quality of care and having had experience of running successful businesses before, I was very keen to start my own care business.

'I looked at a variety of care franchises but once I visited Bluebird Care and heard what they had to say and see what they have achieved, I knew I wanted to be part of it! The support and training I have received has been first class and the team at head office has helped me enormously to get my business underway. With Bluebird Care I know I have bought into huge experience in this sector.'

Dr David Radford, Chairman of Devon Primary Care Trust, performed the official opening ceremony of Sharon's franchise, which is the first in Devon although she has plans to open other Bluebird Care offices. 'I have been busy from the start,' she adds. 'The demand for the quality care we provide is there and I never lose sight of the fact that it is the people who actually use our service who are the most important.'
