Bluebird Care to open 75th franchise

Mrs Kalsi decided to open a Bluebird Care office with her husband, Perm, after they became increasingly concerned about some of the negative stories surrounding care homes. With aging parents of their own, care at home looked an attractive option.
Mrs Kalsi said: "Not only did we feel that we wanted a change from our careers in IT, we wanted to gibe something back and make a difference. With older parents ourselves, we empathise with the situation many families face and decided to help provide some of the care needed by opening a Bluebird Care office."
The couple have already forged links with the Barton-on-Trent College to recruit and train care workers from within the college and they are looking to recruit four permanent care workers, with a subsequent two to three additional workers per month after their launch.
