Visitors flock to new website

As one of the largest and fastest growing care at home providers, Bluebird Care reported a surge in enquiries since launching its new website in January.

Within four weeks of its launch, the site had a marked percentage increase in unique visitors with each person spending an average of four minutes on the site.

Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director at Bluebird Care, says: “Feedback on the new website has been positive. It was really important that the new website was a useful tool for people looking for information about care options and possible franchise opportunities. It also carries case studies and footage of successful franchise owners who have joined us, which makes it a useful resource for those seeking a new business opportunity in the franchise care market.”

New Director of Operations

Bluebird Care is pleased to welcome Fiona Williams as its Director of Operations. This is a new role, based at head office, with responsibility for the efficient management of the Business Development team and the Bluebird Care network of offices. Fiona joins Bluebird Care from a successful career as Business Manager at Allied Health Care, including 23 years in the health care industry.

“I’m pleased to be joining Bluebird Care at such an exciting time in the company’s development,” says Fiona. “The company has seen incredible growth since the first franchise in 2006. We now have 132 offices and I’m looking forward to making an impact on the business and its operational strategy.”

Bluebird Care sponsors RNFA Referees

Bluebird Care recently signed a deal to sponsor the Royal Navy Football Association (RNFA) Referees – helping to fund the provision of training kit for match officials at Royal Navy and Inter Services football competitions. The sponsorship deal runs throughout 2012 and provides RNFA Referees with financial support, which will aid in the funding of new match officials training kit.

Speaking of the relationship, Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director at Bluebird Care Franchises, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the RNFA Referees. Bluebird Care recognises that sport has an important role to play for many people, particularly our Armed Forces, and we are pleased to show our support for Royal Navy football in this way.”

Captain Steve Dainton CBE, Chairman of the RNFA, adds: “I am delighted that we have entered into a relationship with Bluebird Care franchises. Its support in helping to develop our vision for producing referees to officiate both service and civilian matches will be invaluable.”

Bird’s eye view of Bristol

This year sees Bluebird Care take flight with a series of roadshows. Free of charge and no obligation, the events are held early evenings in conveniently based city hotels and give you a fast track introduction to the world of Bluebird Care and how you can be part of it.

“Our first event kicked off in Bristol on February 9 and was really well attended,” says Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director at Bluebird Care. “We have a number of territories available in the South West and since the roadshow, we’ve subsequently met several of those who attended who are now interested in taking the opportunity to the next stage.

“We would urge anyone interested in operating a highly successful management franchise with Bluebird Care to give us a call, or come along to our next roadshow in Chelmsford on April 19.”
