Bluebird Care: Success in a growth market
With franchisees joining the network and interest in the business exceptionally good, management franchise Bluebird Care has got off to a flying start, the company reports
Bluebird Care has had an excellent response from potential franchisees since its launch in May. 'Even during the Summer months, which are traditionally quiet for franchisors, we have been receiving many enquiries,' says Franchise Director Simon Dalziel. 'This is not surprising considering the huge growth market of providing care in people's homes and the proven success of our business.'
One of the latest franchisees to join the network is Pam McConnell, who is taking two franchise territories - Bournemouth and Poole. She states: 'Having previous experience in the care sector I was aware of the tremendous business opportunity Bluebird Care has. I want to start a business with the support and backup of an experienced franchisor and I was impressed with Bluebird right from the start.
'The franchise package represents excellent value and with the experience the management team have in both care and franchising it means the support structure is there. I'm looking forward to a successful, profitable business providing the highest standards of care.'
The Bluebird opportunity is also available to those without care experience. 'It is important for franchisees to have an empathy with care,' reports Managing Director Paul Tarsey, 'but with the training and support we offer, franchisees without previous industry experience can be very successful.'
Chris Kendrick-Jones and Paul Haylings, who have no care industry backgrounds, are taking the franchise territories of Tamworth and Litchfield in the Midlands. 'Paul and I worked together for some time setting up and running a successful print and publication business in Birmingham,' explains Chris. 'When we decided to move away from this we were drawn to franchising for the safer route it provides in starting a new business.'
Adds Paul: 'We have moved from a business sector where margins are constantly getting squeezed and business is very hard, to one which is growing fast and offers many opportunities. The successful business concept Bluebird Care offers was instantly appealing and once we had met Paul and Simon and discussed the opportunity, we were convinced it was the new business for us.'
Bluebird Care is a management franchise employing a team of care staff who provide care to people in their own homes. While the majority of customers are older persons, the market is widening to include people of all ages who are in need of care. The provision of care is also an ongoing service making it a very attractive, repeat business. 'There has never been a better time to consider a Bluebird Care franchise,' suggests Simon. 'The market for quality care provision is there and with it the opportunity of developing a successful, profitable business.'
