Veteran Wimbledon fan Elsie Brown re-visited the tournament last week thanks to a Bluebird Care franchise owner. 88 year old Brown visited the Number One court last Friday after Bluebird Care Rugby and South Leicestershire franchise owner Joy Grant wrote to Wimbledon and received complimentary tickets.

Grant accompanied Brown to the tournament where they watched Andy Roddick and Venus Williams. Grant said: "What a fabulous time Elsie had - she didn't stop talking all the way there, telling me stories of past matches and players. When we picked her up bright and early, she was dressed up, with her hat, and was all ready to go. We had great seats and the stewards looked after us very well. There was no way Elsie was leaving before the end and we saw three good matches. I suggested she had a sleep on the way back but she was still too excited. Like Cinderella we got her home at Midnight."

Brown added: "I never thought I would ever go to Wimbledon again after my husband, Bill died. Bluebird Care gave me back my life and confidence after breaking my hip and I have had such a lovely day. I am so grateful to everyone who made it happen."
