Through the sponsorship, Bluestones aims to recruit talented heavy goods drivers, interim managers, and permanent logistics personnel.

This innovative approach to recruiting will see scheduled programming, sponsored by Bluestones Logistics, running throughout the night, for 13 weeks, beginning Monday March 30 at 22:00.

Operating in a niche recruitment market, Bluestones Logistics offers the opportunity for ambitious recruitment professionals to take on their own franchise, as well as placing drivers and logistics personnel in roles with varied clients.

Managing Director, Marian Butterworth, said: “So far the brand has been very successful in recruiting high quality, professional drivers and logistics personnel, but we can’t rest on our laurels. Our partnership with Smooth Radio is a unique and innovative move by a recruiter, and sees us steering away from the more established methods of recruiting, like job boards.

“After reviewing the listening figures and our potential target audience with Phil White of Smooth, our decision was that to realise the full potential, we would run our sponsorship throughout the night.”
