Franchise Marketing Award Winners announced
The winners of the 2008 Franchise Marketing Awards have been announced at a gala dinner held at the Royal Lancaster, London with Cash Converters receiving the Best Overall Marketing Campaign award. The other 10 awards went to HiQ, MRI Network Worldwide, Prontaprint, Select Group, Home Instead Senior Care, NBC Bird & Pest Solutions, Tumble Tots, Gymboree, ReactFast and Bluebird Care, while special commendation was given to Dream Doors and Goodchilds Estate Agency & Lettings. Over 400 people from the franchise industry attended the event in recognition of the award contenders' investment in marketing and creativity.
An independent panel of judges, which included representatives from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the British Franchise Association (bfa), presented the winners with the awards.
Bluebird Care won the Franchise Recruitment Team of the Year award, sponsored by the Daily Mail. Bluebird Care's Franchise Director Simon Dalziel comments: 'Bluebird care is delighted to win such a prestigious, high profile award. It shows that Bluebird Care is recognised as a quality franchise. The Franchise Recruitment Team has successfully attracted high calibre franchisee who in turn are developing successful businesses nationwide.'
Prontaprint scooped the Best Brand Management award, sponsored by Pink Green and also received special commendation for the Best Franchisee Marketing Support award won by Select Group. Prontaprint's Head of Marketing Keith Davidson says: 'This award is a result of Prontaprint's evolution and is a testimony to the hard work and effort that has gone in to developing its new brand positioning by both franchisor, franchisees and their centre teams.
