Membership changes at the bfa as Mr Electric, Aire Serv, Metal Supermarkets and Total Clean have become provisional members. These new members will have to develop their business in accordance with the bfa industry standards. Once here the franchises, like Rugbytots, prove their ability to launch and support one franchised outlet and rise to the position of associate members.

A franchise that has proved itself, Greensleeves, has now become a full member after having their trading and franchising record examined by the bfa.

The British Franchise Associations, the bfa, main role is to support potential franchisees recognise the good franchises and the not-so-good, including to help business who are actively involved in franchising to secure their own position amongst the good.

Membership to the bfa is only open to franchisors and professional advisors to the franchise industry who commit themselves with the terms of the policies and procedures as arranged by the bfa. The bfa now has 125 full members on record but with many on the provisional list we are sure to see that number rise over the coming years.
