Business Doctors aims to recruit 50 franchisees within five years
With interest from potential franchisees across the UK and abroad Business Doctors is set to become a dominant brand in the business consultancy sector
Within six weeks of launching the Business Doctors franchise the company has recruited one franchisee and has been inundated by prospective franchisees interested in the business. Rod Davies, co-Founder of Business Doctors, reveals: 'We have appointed Keith McCallum in Bedfordshire through the auspices of FranMatch from FDS Northern and he is currently in the process of going live.
'We are delighted with the response to our launch some six weeks ago. In that time we have received over 100 enquiries, including candidates in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, Malaysia, Channel Isles, Scandinavia and Spain. Naturally, our initial focus remains the UK and our diaries are full of appointments with potential franchisees.
'As well as this we are also receiving increasing enquiries from potential clients of Business Doctors. We believe that companies that are well structured and have a strategy can survive and indeed thrive in the current economic uncertainty. As a result, there is an increasing demand for the services of Business Doctors so this is an ideal time to join.'
Business Doctors was founded in 2004 and provides a health improvement service for companies. Franchise owners are like doctors in that they work with their clients to think about how they operate, help them improve their habits, provide practical advice, find workable strategies and, if necessary, call in other experts. Additionally, franchisees provide SMEs (small and medium enterprises) a range of services from individual health assessments, mentoring and coaching to tailored action plans and advice to help SMEs achieve their full potential.
As part of the franchise package franchisees will receive full training, an induction to the marketplace, launch and ongoing support and a copy of the Operational Manual to refer to for the duration of the trading licence. Furthermore, the package will also include an online suite of business tools, a complete exhibition kit, marketing materials, a laptop and key applications, website presence and access to proven marketing and sales strategies.
Although Business Doctors will provide the tools to establish a successful business the earning potential will depend on the franchisee, Rod explains: 'In terms of earning potential, a franchisee's earning capacity depends on their personal effort, dedication and determination to succeed and their ability to help SMEs achieve their full potential. This is a challenging and fast-moving environment so a prompt and level headed response to problems is essential, along with a strong client care mentality.
'We have invested heavily in the development of the Business Doctors brand, image and trading style. Business Doctors franchise owners will be able to trade under a recognised and trusted brand name. As the network develops, you will benefit from strong national and regional promotional activity and a strong brand identity.'
Business Doctors is aiming to recruit 50 franchisees nationwide by the end of 2012. Potential candidates need to have managerial and/or marketing experience, good communication and people skills and a practical, problem solving mindset. As well as this, experience in building a business and a strong desire to be a leader would be an advantage.
With the interest that Business Doctors has had in the short time since launching its franchise opportunity, not only throughout the UK but also internationally, the company is set to expand rapidly and this could be the perfect time to join the growing business.
