Card Connection's Northampton territory is on the market for the first time in 17 years. The Northampton territory of the greeting card distribution franchise is made up of both town and rural geography and has been run as profitable business since 1993.

Card Connection's Sales Director Andrew Cutler said: "Using a proven system, our Card Connection franchise owners select from more than 1,200 high-quality greeting cards to place ranges in retail outlets on a 'consignment' basis. This means the stock and display equipment is installed on free loan to the retailer and they only pay for what they sell.

"This consignment sales model creates a 'win-win' situation for the retailers and has proved particularly popular over the years. Our franchise owners now supply convenience stores, sub post offices, petrol station forecourts and staff restaurants in large offices across the UK. We also supply numerous national accounts, including Costcutters, Londis, Netto, Budgens, Spar and Haldanes.

"The opportunity to purchase the Northampton territory offers a prospective franchise owner the rare opportunity to buy an established business with a loyal customer base. Yet, at the same time, there is the potential to expand into new retail outlets and we anticipate a candidate with the suitable enthusiasm and drive, will quickly be able to grow this franchise's profitability to higher levels."
