'With Card Connection's network turnover now topping more than £12 million we know we have a hugely popular product,' confirms Dave Galvin, Card Connection's senior franchise manager. 'Both Herdman and Coe have a wealth of knowledge and relevant experience to increase the opportunities for further success for our franchisees and we anticipate they will help drive these figures to new heights next year.'

Before joining Card Connection, Gillian Herdman worked as an area manager for Shell UK Petrol Forecourts. As a supplier to Shell, Card Connection's franchise operation was already familiar to Herdman. 'I was impressed by the company's reputation in the industry and its extensive product range,' she confirms. Herdman will now be responsible for supporting franchisees in Card Connection's North West, North Wales and West Midlands Region.

John Coe worked as a network manager for Cardline Greetings before joining Card Connection, having had responsibility for a network of 50 franchisees.

'However, I wanted to move to the market leader,' confirms Coe. In his new role John Coe will be responsible for Card Connection's North East Yorkshire & East Midlands Region.

'At Card Connection we are well aware that the ability of our franchisees to be successful and grow their businesses is not only down to their own hard work and drive but also to the ongoing support they receive,' confirms Galvin.

'As a result, we are confident the additions to the team will make a significant contribution, not only to the continued growth of Card Connection as a whole, but most importantly be beneficial for increased business for our franchisees within the network.'

Card Connection is one of the UK's most successful card publishers and is the market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards.

The company was established in 1992 and became a Full Member of the British Franchise Association in 1995. It now distributes greeting cards to around 17,000 outlets through its network of 105 franchisees.
