Card Connection integrates with UK Greetings LTD

Greeting card publisher and franchise Card Connection has become part of UK Greetings Limited (UKG). UKG is a British subsidiary of American Greetings Inc AG and supplies well known brands such as Carlton, Forget Me Not, Gibson, Camden Graphics and Hanson White to the majority of the UK's leading retailers including WH Smith, Tesco, Clinton Cards, Boots, Birthdays, Asda and Woolworths as well as 4,500 independent retailers.

Managing Director of Card Connection Robina Every says: 'I believe that UKG represents a very strong partner for the Card Connection business and am confident that the company can develop sales and profitability by increasing its share and penetration of the card market. The company's excellent track record of servicing retailers using the Card Connection franchisee network will be enhanced significantly by the addition of UKG's resources.

'Card Connection will be run as an independent division of UKG with its own unique product range exclusive to the franchisees. The management of the company remains with the existing management team with the addition of three new directors from UKG joining the main board.'
