Home care provider Caremark (Aylesbury & High Wycombe) has received high praise from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an unannounced inspection at its offices in Whitchurch.

The quality of the care and support services provided by Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) to its customers was closely examined by the visiting inspector and they were satisfied that the franchised office was meeting all 28 Outcomes of the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety in accordance with the section 20 regulations of the Health & Social Care Act 2008.

The 28 Outcomes cover all aspects of the service provider’s activities, from record keeping to the actual service delivered to the customers, the provision of suitably skilled staff to meet customer requirements, as well as all aspects of staff training, supervision and support, both office and field based.

Janis Anderson, franchise owner of Caremark (Aylesbury & High Wycombe), said: “We are pleased to have passed this review with flying colours. However, there are always ways of improving the service we offer our customers and the way we support and train our staff. The CQC were impressed with our current plans to continue to improve and develop our service overall, ensuring that we continue to offer the excellent standards of care, respect and dignity that our customers have a right to expect and that our staff are able to access the best possible support and training.”
