Caremark, the international and UK home care provider, hosted its 6th Annual Conference at the historical Walton Hall Hotel in Warwickshire at the end of January.

Emphasis on ‘Raising the Bar’ in 2013 underpinned the conference, with the focus being placed on maintaining Caremark’s quality service provision, continuation of good business practice, utilisation of strong marketing strategies and continued networking with key professionals.

The group were able to report an outstanding year during the preceding 12 months, showing a 44 per cent growth on 2011, while looking to greater growth and development in 2013.

The day kicked off with presentations by key members of Caremark’s support team to some 80 plus delegates who had come from all over the UK, Ireland and Malta to attend the annual event. Taking a different format to previous years, some of Caremark’s most successful franchise owners contributed to the uplifting and informative programme of presentations, with the morning’s business concluding with a Q&A session, with a panel of franchise owners from Caremark’s different regions taking questions from the floor.

A gala dinner and awards ceremony took place in the evening with 10 awards in total being presented, with sponsorship of Caremark’s three top awards – Achievement, Mark of Excellence and Franchisee of the Year donated by key suppliers of services to the network.

Caremark (Charnwood) scooped a double award – a first for the Caremark network, taking both the Midlands Regional Award and Caremark’s ‘Mark of Excellence’ award.

“Thank you to all the head office team for organising such a good conference - the surroundings were beautiful,” said Dinah Madelin, Caremark (West Oxfordshire & Cherwell).

“The sharing of their personal journeys by different franchise owners was incredibly beneficial. It’s always useful to share the ups and downs with fellow franchise owners and always good to get right away from the office for 24 hours,” Dinah Madelin concluded.

Delegates left the conference energised and enthusiastic, with some good food for thought for the coming year’s business.

Operating a network of franchise owners in the UK, Ireland and from Malta, who deliver care and support services to people of all ages and disabilities at home and in the community. Caremark also offers a more intensive level of care and support through its Live-in service, Habito.
