With a proven track record as a Managing Director and owner of a substantial and profitable multi-branch group within the motor industry, Carl has considerable experience in residential property development and expertise in finance, personnel, business growth and marketing. Commenting on becoming the first Caremark franchisee, he says: 'I was looking for a franchise with unlimited potential and a market that demonstrated excellent future growth. With the aged population alone growing some 58 per cent in the next 20 years and society choosing care in their home for so many needy people, Caremark met those criteria to the letter. I see it as an opportunity to run a successful operation while fulfilling a social need to a very high standard.'

Carl is the first franchisee to enjoy the benefits of Caremark's new head office facility, which is large enough to accommodate both its pilot and franchise operation on one floor.

'We have increased our office space to incorporate a dedicated training room and a private interview room for carers,' reveals Founder Kevin Lewis. 'The franchise department can now work more effectively with streamlined marketing and franchisee recruitment strategies.
