Caremark franchise owners Mike and Alda McQueen have just completed their two-week initial training course and are now fully prepared to continue developing their own Caremark community care business in South Cambridgeshire.

Held by the Caremark support team in West Sussex, the course covers everything franchise owners need to start and build their business, delivering the highest standards of care within their specific region.

Both franchise owners joined Caremark with experience in health care - Mike most recently having worked within pathology departments, specialising in quality management within the NHS, while Alda has worked for a number of years with leading domiciliary care providers and the NHS as a registered nurse.

Caremark (South Cambridgeshire) has already been successfully developing the business, and is now beginning to recruit and train care staff in the provision of specialist services to vulnerable people in the South Cambridgeshire area.

Part of a network of over 50 offices throughout the UK and Ireland, Caremark (South Cambridgeshire) has over 20 years of experience in providing care and companionship to people living in their own homes.

The company offers support to any adult in need - particularly older people, those with mental health needs or learning difficulties, those with physical disabilities, people suffering from a terminal illness, and people who have recently returned home from hospital.

"We believe each individual has the right to remain living independently in their own home," said Mike McQueen, Managing Director of Caremark (South Cambridgeshire). "Caremark gives us the opportunity to provide a person-centred care approach and the delivery of a quality service".
