At the official launch of it's new office, Caremark (Sandwell) raised over £150 for an Elder Abuse Awareness campaign. The Deputy Mayor of Sandwell, Joyce Underhill officially opened the new office.

Representatives from different care organisations attended the launch, key speakers included Alan Craig from Sandwell Primary Care Trust and the Older People Policy office from the Sandwell PTC Sue Howard. Live entertainment including street dancing, singing and poetry recitals was also put-on for the event.

Managing Director of Caremark (Sandwell) Chris Williams said: "It was great to see so many of our close contacts in the community come together and help raise money for a really good cause. Everyone at Caremark has worked so hard already to develop our business and raise awareness of honourable charities in the community."

Caremark provides care to the elderly, those with mental or learning difficulties, those with physical disabilities, people suffering from terminal illness and those who have recently returned from hospital needing assistance.

It provides support to any adult in need, working with the individual to develop a unique support plan based around their personal needs. Chris and the care team are familiar with the Sandwell and the surrounding areas and offer 24-hour response service to offer peace of mind to both individual and their loved ones that they are being cared for to the highest standards.
