The launch of the latest Caremark franchise in Bromley is set to create over 100 jobs in the area. Sharon Dhillon (pictured top with Caremark Managing Director Kevin Lewis), who owns and operates Caremark Bromley, provides a home care service to local residents.

Dhillon said: “My passion to make a difference to the lives of people in my community was inspired by personal experience I had with my family member. They received an unsatisfactory level of care and this made me want to dedicate the use of my skills and experience to opening up a high quality home care service in Bromley. Everyone deserves the opportunity to have the best type of care if required and to be cared for and supported by staff who really care about what they do.

“Now that I have completed the course, my next step is to find a suitable office and apply for my registration with the Care Quality Commission (the regulatory body for all businesses operating within the Health & Social Care sector). I will then really focus on recruiting and training staff for both the office and for Care and Support work in-field.”

Dhillon comes from a strong business management background having obtained a BBA in Business Administration from Canterbury University and held the post of Operations Manager for Royal Mail, handling a large workforce and substantial budgets during the course of her career. Dhillon husband Sukhy, who is developing a neighbouring Caremark location in Bexley, is supporting her in the business.
