Caremark has named the winners of its Carer's of the Month award. Sharon Bridges and Sarah King who are home care workers for Caremark (Aylesbury and Wycombe) have received the national award.

The award is held by Caremark Ltd and is an opportunity for carer's across the UK Caremark network to be recognised nationally for their dedication and commitment to delivering the highest standards of care. Local Caremark offices have started introducing their own awards to distinguish and reward outstanding members of staff; the winners are then put forward to the head office support team for a chance to win the national award.

The franchise owner of Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) put forward the names of Sarah and Sharon, who were awarded with an M&S voucher and Caremark certificates, for their calmness and capability in the face of the collapse of a client who was hospitalised. Janis Anderson, franchise owner of Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) said: "At the time Sarah was very new to care, and had only just finished her training. They both kept their heads in a fraught situation, helping the client and his wife at a very distressful time, and we could not be more proud of their achievements."
