Caremark’s Franchise Owner of the Year 2011 award winner was announced at the company’s annual conference, which was held at Hellidon Lakes Hotel in Northamptonshire.

Janis Anderson, who owns the Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) franchise, was named the winner of the award. This award is the most prestigious presented by Caremark and is given in recognition of the growth and development of the business, the standards of care delivery, and adherence to the Caremark process and system.

In spite of the current difficult economic climate, Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) was able to report significant growth throughout 2011 with business coming in steadily from the private market, the NHS and Buckinghamshire County Council.

A strong recruitment drive throughout the year, coupled with their intensive training of their care workers ensured that Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) were well placed to pick up various care packages which required the delivery of specialist support to customers with complex needs.

As well as this, during 2011 the company also expanded its services to provide care and support for children and young people, plus a live-in service called Habito, alongside its current service to older people.

Commenting on the award, Anderson said: “I was delighted to accept the award, which reflects the huge effort put in by our care manager, co-ordinators, supervisors and care workers to build a business providing high quality and professional care to vulnerable people.”
