Caremark awarded full bfa membership

Staff at domiciliary care opportunity Caremark were delighted when the brand was awarded full membership of the British Franchise Association.

Caremark was exhibiting at the British and International Franchise Exhibition at London Olympia, when it was awarded with Full membership of the British Franchise Association (bfa).

This is fantastic news for Caremark’s current and prospective franchise owners, who should also now feel the benefits from full recognition of the credibility and standards that come from gaining the accreditation.

Full members of the bfa must meet certain criteria – they should demonstrate a sustainable and profitable financial history, a system of know-how that is transferable to franchise owners, an unambiguous disclosure policy of all information relating to the opportunity and they must fully comply with the European Code of Ethics. More importantly, to be recognised fully the company must have a ‘proven trading and franchising record’.

The criteria, which is governed by the European Code of Ethics for Franchising, is designed to develop and continuously improve the standards of good practice in franchising and to accredit franchisors who meet these standards. Franchise owners will benefit from the added PR and Marketing opportunities offered by the bfa and may be in a stronger position to approach finance options with the backing of a fully accredited brand.

Caremark operates a franchise system which is ethical, honest and offers franchise owners potentially significant financial rewards.

Kevin Lewis, CEO of Caremark Ltd, said: “We were delighted to hear we had been awarded Full membership of the bfa. This represents a true milestone in the development of our brand and sets us well on target for achieving our mission, to achieve greatness in the provision of domiciliary care.”
