HOMEcare franchise Caremark has appointed a new Franchise Manager to oversee the group's continued development. Chris Wandel (pictured, right) joined the company in June having previously worked in professional outsourcing for a legal firm dealing with large FTSE100 companies.

"I was attracted to the post by (Caremark Founder) Kevin Lewis's outlook, the brand's mission statement, and the family culture of the company," said Chris. "Caremark is unarguably the best domiciliary care provider in the country and the franchise opportunity is second to none. We're looking to bring on board the right people in a sector that is experiencing continual growth. I feel that I have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to society in my everyday working life at Caremark."

Chris is new to the franchise sector, but brings with him a wealth of skills in organisation and building strong relationships. "Not many people realise that franchising is a brilliant way to set up a business with an established brand and guidance necessary to manage and run your own business," he continued. 'My target is to find the right kind of people to take the Caremark brand and populate that around the country. We need people that will uphold the values of the company - respecting the rights and values of our clients, valuing our carers, maintaining the strength of our policies and procedures, conducting ourselves with complete honesty and integrity, and operating at fair and competitive fee levels.

"I am aiming to bring on board one to two new franchise owners every month, which can be achieved without losing our focus on providing a very responsive service to getting people started."
